Note: These opinions are based on the Chloe in the Life is Strange video game series, not the comic book series.
In my opinion, Chloe is an amazing character and a great friend towards Max. She has such a well-written and detailed backstory and has great character design that totally fits her punk aesthetic and tomboyish personality. What I love about Chloe is her iconic blue hair. Her hair makes her a very recognizable character and makes her stand out from the other characters. And what I really like about Chloe is that she's always there for her friends, especially her best friends, Max and Rachel. However, like many characters in this series, Chloe has multiple flaws. She can sometimes be foul-mouthed, rude, disobedient , selfish, hot-tempered and, like some teenagers and young adults, rebellious towards her mom, Joyce. Chloe also tends to have a few bad habits, such as smoking, drinking, getting high and saying or doing things without thinking about how her actions or words will affect other people. But despite her flaws, Chloe is still a kind and caring person who's always there for those she cares about. Other fans see Chloe as a toxic person and a bad influence on Max, but I see her as a punk-like woman with a heart of gold.
What are you opinions on Chloe, everyone's favorite blue-haired goddess?

I’m not sure why but every single time I play the second game is makes me so annoyed. I understand the obvious plot of the game and stuff but I cant deal with the fact that in reality every single bad thing that happens in the game is Daniel’s fault. Yes, I guess the player has some control over the ending but in reality all of the shitty things (his ‘outbursts’, basically ruining their chances of getting some money, taking out Sean’s eye, and of course a bunch more before and after these events) it honestly just annoys me so much that the entire premise of the game revolves around racism in America, especially in the recent past years, but unfortunately feels overshadowed by the fact that it was very situational and unconventional for all this bad shit to happen to one singular person. It was almost so unrealistic that the message of the game got diluted with every unfortunate occurrence. To me, after they left beaver creek is when things started to become mildly ridiculous. Idk if other people feel the same but it’s just annoying to me that the strong message in the game was overshadowed with poor plot points.

So I'm busy looking for a good, darker fanfic story that deals with Max's mental health, or the decline of her mental health and/or suicidal tendencies or themes. Perhaps even sexual assault.
She's dealt with a tremendous amount of trauma in the game, and I'm looking for a story that reflects that.
Could be Chloe's mental health as well.
I just recently finished reading Broken by TheRainbowShakaBrah and I've got to say, it's phenomenal! Probably my favourite fanfic so far.
Link just below. 👇 (Side question: how do you post a link with the title rather than posting the actual link?)

Anyway, I'm looking for something similar to this story. Anyone got any great recommendations?
Many thanks in advance!
The woman in the dark suit holding the pistol is FBI Agent Olivia Bishop. Investigating the Mark Jefferson and Dark Room case in the story. She's the highlight for me in this poster.
Here's the link to the poster:
Mine is "Ready for the mosh pit, shaka brah!"
In my opinion, the saddest moments in both games in my opinion are when Chloe found Rachel's body, Kate's death, Chloe's mental breakdown in the junkyard, Chloe's death during the storm and the alternative, Chloe's funeral, the alternate timeline where Max saw Chloe in a wheelchair and Alternative Chloe's dying words to Max, as well as her death at the hospital.

⚠️TRIGGER WARNING: The following post mentions mature subject matter, such as loss, death, abandonment, Borderline Personality Disorder and drug use which may be triggering for some people. Viewer Discretion is Advised ⚠️
Chloe Price has the most tragic yet beautifully-written backstory in the Life is Strange franchise. When she was younger, she lost her dad, William, in a deadly car accident when a truck collided with the vehicle, killing William instantly, but Chloe survived. Chloe was traumatized by this accident, and began to develop PTSD and survivor's guilt. Then, after Max moved from Seattle back to Arcadia Bay, Chloe was even more upset by this and felt abandoned. She then began developing BPD, also known as Borderline Personality Disorder. So, in order to cope with the trauma she was experiencing in her teenage years, she began using drugs, smoking marijuana and getting high, something we would see throughout the first game and the prequel. This is NOT a healthy way to cope with any traumatic things that had happened in your life. This can make things worse and cause many health issues. Plus, Chloe was shot the stomach by Nathan in the girl's bathroom after the argument about drugs and money before Max rewinded time, pressed the fire alarm and saved Chloe's life. If it weren't for Max, Chloe would've been dead right there on the spot. After her and Max dug through the dirt and found Rachel's body, Chloe broke down crying, bursting into tears, while Max comforting her. When the player makes the choice where Max has to sacrifice her best friend, Chloe would killed during the storm.
If you or someone you know is struggling with BPD, PTSD, abandonment, the loss of a loved one or drug use, ther is help. There are resources and helplines out there to help you and save your life.
